For the past 4 years, the NASA Robotics Education Project (REP) has been supporting participation in FIRST by providing grants to high school teams as well as sponsoring FIRST Regional Competitions.

NASA REP also supports FIRST through encouraging NASA employees to volunteer as mentors and by helping plan and coordinate the Regional Competitions.
